This impetus for this page came from the
aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the USA. Mindful of the need to
try to protect the survivors from researcher overload, we wish to share
ideas and output to enable researchers (of all kinds e.g. professional
researchers, consultants, graduate students, organizers and activists) to
build on what has already been done and benefit from others' experience.
We aim to locate here examples of the following:
1) research ideas and questions
2) lists of/links to research which is already
planned/funded/in process
3) research output
While the initial focus is on research related to
Hurricane Katrina, other more general research issues can also be located
on Radix.
